This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our mobile or web applications, and interact with our services (collectively, the "Service").

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, as well as data that is automatically collected when you use the Service.

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, password, and coaching affiliation.

Billing Information

If you subscribe to Pro Features, our third-party payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.

Team and Player Data

To function properly, the Service requires you to input data regarding your team, including player names, jersey numbers, match statistics, lineups, and performance data.

Usage and Device Data

We automatically collect standard diagnostic data, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and interaction metrics within the app.

We use the collected data strictly to operate, maintain, and improve the Service. Specific uses include:

• Providing the core functionality of the Service, such as roster management and stat tracking.
• Powering our Pro Features, including algorithmic analysis for practice generation and tactical suggestions.
• Processing transactions and sending related billing communications.
• Providing technical support and responding to your inquiries.
• Analyzing usage patterns to optimize performance, debug software, and develop new features.

We do not sell your personal data or your team's data to third parties. We only share information under the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We share necessary data with trusted vendors who perform services for us, such as cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Vercel), payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

Legal Compliance

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SideoutIQ, our users, or others.

Business Transfers

If Empower Virtual Holdings LLC undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, User Data will likely be among the transferred assets.

SideoutIQ is designed for use by coaches and team administrators, not directly by minor athletes. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.

Coaches or administrators who input minor athletes' data (such as names and statistics) into the Service are solely responsible for obtaining any required verifiable parental consent prior to doing so. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Although our legal entity is registered in Wyoming, we operate out of California and comply with applicable state privacy regulations. If you are a California resident, you have the right to request:

• Access to the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Correction of inaccurate personal information.

We retain your personal information and User Data for as long as your account remains active. If you choose to terminate your account, we will retain your data for a 30-day grace period to allow for data export. Following this period, all User Data, including team statistics and player profiles, will be permanently and irrecoverably deleted from our active servers.

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information and team data against unauthorized access, destruction, or alteration. However, no internet-based transmission or digital storage system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or relevant laws. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Policy within the Service and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
